SEEKING A ROLE AS: QA Supervisor / Manager, QA Technologist
IN LOCATION: Currently based in Texas. Willing to relocate anywhere and travel as needed.
PROFILE:
A results-driven Quality Assurance and Food Safety professional with 10+ years of progressive experience in bakery, dairy, confections, and frozen food manufacturing environments. Brings strong expertise in regulatory compliance, audit readiness, sanitation oversight, and cross-functional collaboration within GFSI-certified facilities. Known for implementing systems-based quality programs, leading root cause investigations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen food safety culture and operational performance.
SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
– 10+ years of quality and food safety leadership experience across bakery, dairy, frozen, and confectionery manufacturing.
– Led Environmental Monitoring Programs, CCP documentation, visual standards, and quality specification programs in BRC and SQF-certified facilities.
– Conducted facility audits, post-sanitation inspections, and production line checks to ensure GMP compliance and regulatory alignment.
– Directed root cause investigations and CAPA implementation to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
– Supported new product implementation initiatives in collaboration with R&D, Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.
– Oversaw sanitation programs and coordinated cross-department compliance initiatives aligned with SQF standards.
– Led production teams in frozen dairy manufacturing, managing ingredient flow and supporting on-time production targets.
– Developed and updated SOPs, job instructions, and training programs to strengthen compliance and workforce capability.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
B.S. in Food Science and Technology

COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation in the $90,000 – $110,000 range depending on scope of responsibility and incentive structure.
