SEEKING A ROLE AS: Corporate Controller, Finance Director, Senior Finance Controller
IN LOCATION: Based in the Greater Philadelphia area. Willing to commute locally and travel as needed.
PROFILE:
A seasoned Finance Controller with 18+ years of progressive leadership experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Brings deep expertise in GAAP compliance, cost accounting, ERP systems, inventory valuation, treasury management, and financial reporting. Proven track record of managing month-end and year-end close processes, leading finance teams, and supporting operational efficiency in regulated production settings. Able to align financial controls with manufacturing operations, improve reporting accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and support strategic growth in highly regulated pharmaceutical environments.
SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
– 18+ years of pharmaceutical and regulated manufacturing finance experience.
– Directed full-cycle accounting operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, treasury, general ledger, and fixed asset management.
– Managed month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and GAAP-compliant financial statement preparation.
– Led cost accounting functions including BOM maintenance, cost rollups, labor and overhead rate calculations, and COGS analysis.
– Conducted inventory valuation and variance analysis to improve cost control and margin visibility.
– Managed banking relationships and cash flow forecasting aligned with corporate cash policies.
– Supervised supply chain accounting functions including raw material and finished goods inventory oversight.
– Supported annual budgeting processes and corporate reporting updates across multiple reporting periods.
EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS: Master’s Degree in Accounting
COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation in the $165,000 – $180,000 range depending on total compensation package, incentive structure, and scope of responsibility.
