Vice President of Operations Candidate

SEEKING A ROLE AS: VP OF OPERATIONS for a small or mid-sized food processing company in the Food Manufacturing / Food Production.

IN LOCATION: Currently living in Fayetteville, GA. Willing to relocate. Worksite Preference: Open to Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite.

This candidate is a highly accomplished operations executive with over 25 years of experience in food manufacturing, specializing in USDA- and FDA-regulated environments. His extensive background includes managing plant operations with revenues exceeding $60 million, driving EBITDA improvement, and achieving substantial cost savings and safety enhancements. Known for transforming operational efficiency, he has successfully led large-scale expansions, start-ups, and turnarounds, demonstrating exceptional strategic and leadership capabilities.

• Industry experience includes food manufacturing, with a focus on product segments such as retail, foodservice, and co-manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage and develop cross-functional teams, including direct reports, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Responsible for operational oversight, achieving labor savings of over $653K and safety recordable reductions of 70%.
• Classically trained in food safety standards, HACCP Certified, with a Six Sigma Green Belt, and extensive USDA & FDA compliance expertise.

EDUCATION: This candidate holds an MBA in Production & Operations Management and a B.S. in Food Science.

COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation is approximately $175,000, depending on the responsibilities and overall package, with incentives aligned to performance.
