This candidate is a seasoned sales professional with 13 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, specializing in driving growth for emerging and established brands across natural, conventional, mass, and club segments. Candidate recognized for their ability to develop and execute sales strategies that increase distribution, revenue, and retail partnerships. The candidate’s proven track record includes managing P&L, scaling operational capacity, and leading high-performing sales teams.
• Sales leadership & development: Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing key accounts, and forging strategic partnerships with major retailers including Walmart, Target, Kroger, Whole Foods, and others.
• Go-to-market strategy: Expertise in category analysis, pricing, packaging, and portfolio development to maximize market penetration and brand visibility.
• Revenue growth: Achieved significant sales increases—growing distribution from 1,028 to over 38,000+ PODs and gross sales from $400K to over $3.5M—while managing large-scale retail accounts and new product launches.
• Data analysis & forecasting: Skilled in utilizing IRI, Nielsen, and SPINS data for category insights, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Management experience: Managed teams including brokers, regional managers, and sales personnel, along with direct oversight of retail P&L and financial planning.
• Product & category expertise: Classic training in sales strategy, category management, and retail execution.
EDUCATION: BS in Business Administration
COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation is $160-200k plus incentives, reflective of experience and responsibilities, tailored to industry standards in the candidate’s location.
