Director of Quality Assurance & R&D/Sr. Technical Manager (Denver) – Meat, Restaurants, Snack Foods, Shelf-Stable
Accomplished, proficient and ambitious Director of Quality Assurance & R&D/Sr. Director of Product Development experienced in fresh and cooked Meat, Shelf-stable, Snack Foods and Restaurants.
- Multi-plant responsibility including third party auditing of manufacturing facilities
- Created a new line of bison products including steaks, sausage, hot dog, and jerky
- Created processes and protocols, recalls, complaints, quality sampling plan, tempering raw material (plant specific), label creation and evaluation, product development process
- Extensive creation and approval of new specifications, raw materials, nutrition labels, and packaging claims
- Lead all quality assurance, food safety, and commercialization of all projects for both suppliers and restaurants
Education: MBA, MS – Animal/Meat Science
Location: Denver, CO area, open to remote or hybrid role
Compensation: Open to roles starting at $125K
