Director of R&D (Dallas/Fort Worth or Relocation) – Bakery, Desserts

 

Seeking a role as:  Product development leader of dessert/bakery items (Director level and above)

In Location:   Currently living in Dallas/Ft Worth area – open to relocation to Pennsylvania, Maryland, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina

  • Extensive experience in pastry and baking with 17 years of research and development in the Dessert/Bakery category
  • Comprehensive bench development and all phases of commercialization in consumer-packaged goods
  • Extensive experience in management with an emphasis on people skills and bringing teams together
  • Managing cross-functional teams in the development and commercialization process to bring projects to the finish line
  • Cost optimization of formula, ingredients, and manufacturing process
  • Troubleshooting all aspects of the manufacturing process
  • Design and execute consumer sensory evaluation and pre-launch shelf-life tests

Education: Culinary, BS in Management and MS in Food Technology
Compensation: Base salary expectation dependent on cost of living and responsibilities but likely in the 170-$180,000 range plus incentives
