Director/VP R&D Innovation (Seattle, WA or hybrid/remote) – Food Ingredients, Better For You Products, Dairy

 

Seeking a role as: Vice President or Director of Strategic R&D and New Product Innovation in Food and Beverage

In Location: Currently living in Seattle, WA — open to a hybrid work situation and commuting 1 week per month, a local opportunity, or fully remote.

Skills:

  • Extensive experience with foods, including dairy, chocolates and confectionery, starches and hydrocolloids, coffee and teas
  • Skills include new product research, development and launch, market entry and go-to-market plan, product portfolio rationalization, strategic roadmap development, relationship development and management with cross-functional teams, vendors, venture funds, etc.
  • Managed teams of up to 8 direct reports

Compensation: Base salary expectation dependent on cost of living and responsibilities but likely in the $250,000-300,000 range plus incentives for a $300,000+ total compensation package.

Education:  MBA (2018), Master Food Science (2008), Bachelor of Technology in Dairy (2006), Human Centered Design, Certificate in Innovation Strategy
