Seeking a role as: Senior Human Resources Leader in Manufacturing
In Location: Lives in Cincinnati, OH — open to work on-site (within 30 miles), hybrid (within 50 miles), remote, and relocation to Florida, South Carolina
Skills:
Over 25 years of extensive experience in Human Resources within the manufacturing sector, including food manufacturing.
- Achieved a 25% reduction in turnover, yielding cost savings exceeding $500k, by optimizing the onboarding process.
- Successfully decreased union grievances by 25% within 12 months in a facility through collaborative efforts, aligning plant management and union liaison to ensure consistency in policies, communications, and benefits.
- Managed a team of over 550 members with seven direct reports.
- Oversaw Human Resources operations in Multi-Unit Operations across both unionized and non-unionized facilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in integrating newly acquired facilities, harmonizing company policies and procedures, and earning the respect of new employees.
- Proficiently trained in HR Management & Administration, Employee Relations, Leadership Coaching, Team Building, and Talent Management.
- Flexible and willing to travel to other locations, with a capacity for up to 30% of travel time.
Compensation:
Base salary expectation falls within the $140,000 range, (subject to adjustment based on the cost of living and the level of responsibilities associated with the position. Additionally, open to discussing incentive opportunities.)
Education:
BS in Business Administration; Minor in Sociology, from Indiana University at South Bend
Certifications:
Certified SHRM-SCP
Certified PHR
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
