Regional Sales Manager (Midwest or National) – Food Packaging Industry

 

Seeking a role as: Regional Sales Manager or Sales Representative, with customers like Safeway Albertsons, HEB, Kroger, Taylor Farms, Del Monte, med-large restaurant chains and convenience stores, food processors, entertainment venues, and meat and cheese processors, like Hormel, Butterball, and Smithfield.

In Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI (between Milwaukee and Chicago) Midwest Region or National, Remote (No relocation)

Skills:

  • Extensive experience with direct contact food packaging like stock and custom clam shells, trays, platters, many types of barrier films and lidding, injection molded containers and lids, and many others.
  • Consultative sales style, relationship building, problem solving, and solution and value selling. Have sold direct to end users, through distribution, and through brokerage.
  • Managed a team of 7 brokers and multiple direct reports at 7-8 different large distributors like Bunzl, Imperial Dade, GVH, and ASM Waypoint.
  • Responsible for product portfolios of $ 4-7 MM revenue in multiple state territory as well as national presence.
  • Classically trained sales skills with emphasis on building relationships through in person meetings and exemplary follow up and customer service.
  • Building an extensive pipeline of opportunities in a very timely manner.
  • Steadfast integrity which will never put my company or myself in a bad light.
  • Addressing problems immediately in a manner that solves the issue ASAP, builds trust, and strengthens my client relationships and revenue potential.

Compensation: Base salary expectation dependent on cost of living and responsibilities but likely in the $90,000 range plus incentives (bonus/commission)

Education:  BS in Communications Northern Illinois University

Thermoformed packaging for grocery and convenience store chains, restaurants, contract packagers and food processors
Injection Molded packaging for food processors
Flexible packaging for forming and non-forming films
Vacuum bags, and printed roll stock for meat and cheese processors, among others
