Our client, a leader in the beverage industry, specializes in the manufacturing of fruit preparations. With a focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence, they are committed to delivering high-quality products to meet customer expectations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the operations of a prominent plant, ensuring efficient production, quality standards, regulatory compliance, and employee development. The Plant Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining the company’s high standards while fostering a safe, productive, and engaged work environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
•    Salary: $160,000.00 – $170,000.00
•    Bonus Package: 20%

Key Responsibilities and Goals:
•    Manage all manufacturing operations at their NY facility, including production, maintenance, quality control, shipping & receiving, HR, safety, health, and inventory.
•    Develop and oversee departmental budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
•    Implement employee development initiatives to enhance workforce skills and morale, promoting retention and a non-union environment.
•    Design and enforce safety and health programs to maintain compliance with government regulations.
•    Maintain and improve quality systems to ensure high product standards and customer satisfaction.
•    Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines.
•    Foster open communication within the organization and build strong relationships with customers and the local community.

Competencies Needed For Success:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business, or a related field
•    8-10 years of production management experience, with some plant management background, preferably in the food industry
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
•    Continuous Improvement and Lean Initiatives experience
