Production Planner

Kinsa is recruiting for a:  Production Planner – Dry Ingredients Blending

Overview:
Our client is a well-established, family-owned ingredients manufacturer specializing in dry blending operations. This pivotal position involves collaborating across departments to manage demand forecasts, capacity planning, and production scheduling in a dynamic setting.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00
• Bonus Package: None

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and operational priorities.
• Monitor inventory levels, supplier lead times, and raw material availability to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Create and maintain planning reports and models using Microsoft Excel for forecasting and decision-making.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators such as fill rates, inventory turns, and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to coordinate supply plans.
• Support capacity planning by identifying constraints, risks, or supply gaps and escalating issues proactively.

Competencies Needed for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or related fields preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in supply or production planning, ideally within food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems required; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Effective communication skills, bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
