What You’ll Do:
As a Food Technologist, you will play a vital role in product development and quality assurance for frozen food products. Your expertise will ensure product consistency, safety, and regulatory compliance from raw materials to finished goods.

• Develop and reformulate frozen food products, including ingredient sourcing, shelf-life testing, and nutritional analysis
• Conduct sensory evaluations and trial runs for new products or process modifications
• Maintain and update product specifications, formulations, and labels to meet FDA and USDA regulations
• Support scale-up processes from R&D to full production, troubleshooting formulation issues
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve formulation-related quality concerns
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and SQF/BRC standards

Qualifications You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in food product development or quality assurance within the frozen foods industry
• Understanding of SQF standards and food safety regulations
• Experience with formulation, shelf-life testing, and sensory evaluation
• Knowledge of FDA and USDA labeling and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work onsite in Goshen, NY, with relocation support available
