Kinsa is recruiting for an: Operations Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA

My client makes healthy, delicious confectionary products. They are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager at their San Francisco plant, to oversee production planning, quality, food and people safety, and nourish the culture that makes them special. You will manage and support your team, participate in the management team, and help them make the delicious treats their customers expect!

• 5+ years of food production experience, 3+ years of leadership. Extraordinary leadership skills that inspire your team.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $120-140k base salary

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

• Consistently meet production targets by ensuring everyone knows their roles and responsibilities.
• Implement systems to continue to improve flavor/quality each year. Ensure people safety through PPE, processes and instilling a culture of safety and quality.
• Champion company culture and ensure employees remain happy, safe and engaged. Coach, mentor and grow a top-notch team.
• Create strategic daily, weekly, monthly production plans. Maintain inventory and ensure that the company’s machines and processes are optimized.
• Develop strong relationships with the managers across the entire organization and the executive team.
• Roll up your sleeves and help with production whenever needed.

Competencies Needed for Success:

• 5+ years experience in food production, 3+ years managing high-performance teams.
• Excellent leadership skills – the kind of leader who inspires people, brings out the best in them, and they feel lucky to work for.
• Expert knowledge of SQF, HACCP, OSHA and FDA regulations.
