SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
Founder-operator who built a consumer health brand from concept to national scale and a successful exit, then carried that operating experience into growth leadership across DTC, Amazon, and retail. 26 years in CPG, sports nutrition, and health supplements.
– Founded Julian Bakery and scaled it from $1M to $30M in annual revenue, over $200M lifetime, culminating in an eight figure acquisition in 2022
– Built Amazon and DTC into an $18M+ annual channel on a $3M media budget at a $5 to $15 blended CPA, including international Amazon stores in Canada, Europe, Japan, and Australia
– Won and managed national retail distribution: Whole Foods, Costco, Kroger, UNFI, KEHE, and Core-Mark
– Formulated and launched more than 50 food, protein, nutrition, and supplement products, owning sourcing, contract manufacturing, packaging, claims, pricing, and margin
– Recruited and led a 70 person organization across product, operations, creative, ecommerce, media, and customer experience
– Built a direct owned audience of more than one million
– As Chief Growth Officer at a DTC supplement brand: 250% year over year growth while cutting Meta CPA from $80 to $15
– As fractional CMO at a fintech lender: cut cost per lead from $85 to $28
– Builds the AI and automation systems himself: multi-agent workflows, attribution, and campaign operations that let a small team produce at a much larger scale
EDUCATION: 26 years of hands-on operating experience in CPG and consumer growth.
COMPENSATION: Base expectation $200,000 to $275,000 depending on scope and equity, plus performance incentives.
If you are interested in speaking with a leader who:
– Has personally carried a P&L from $1M to $30M and knows what breaks at each stage
– Can win and hold shelf space at Whole Foods, Costco, and Kroger while running a profitable DTC and Amazon business at the same time
– Cuts acquisition cost hard and can prove it: $80 to $15 on Meta, $85 to $28 on cost per lead
– Builds the AI and attribution infrastructure in house instead of renting it from an agency
– Brings founder judgment on product, pricing, and margin, not just marketing, then…
