Overview:
Our client, a prominent player in the beverage industry, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee all brewing and cellar operations. As a leader in the alcohol manufacturing sector, they emphasize quality, efficiency, and safety. This role is vital for ensuring the brewery’s production processes meet the highest standards, optimizing operational performance while maintaining product excellence. Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000
- Bonus Package: Discretionary

Key Responsibilities and Goals:
- Oversee and coordinate all brewing and cellar operations to meet productivity, quality, safety, and delivery standards.
- Develop operational plans in collaboration with the Director of Operations, establishing objectives and performance measures.
- Maintain equipment reliability and standardization of brewing processes.
- Manage scheduling across brewing and cellar functions, ensuring effective communication with relevant departments.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement new brewing processes or product launches.
- Recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performance team while ensuring comprehensive training programs.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and participate in capital expenditure projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including TTB and environmental regulations.
Competencies Needed For Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Fermentation Science.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management within the food & beverage industry, particularly alcoholic beverages.
- Experience leading a teams of production supervisors
- Strong knowledge of processing processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, lead change, and foster teamwork.
- Physical ability to lift at least 30 lbs. and move 165 lbs. of kegged beer, standing for long periods, and performing physical tasks as required.
