Location: Midwest Candidates or East Coast Candidates
A fast-growing CPG food manufacturer is seeking a Trade Specialist to support commercial growth by optimizing trade spend, pricing, promotional planning, and retail execution. This highly analytical role partners closely with Sales and Finance to improve trade investment ROI, manage customer and retailer systems, and provide the reporting and insights needed to drive profitable growth across grocery, club, and e-commerce channels.
Compensation/Benefits:

Key Responsibilities and Goals:
- Partner with Sales and Finance to manage trade planning, promotional forecasting, pricing, and trade spend optimization.
- Analyze trade performance, ROI, and customer-level results, providing actionable recommendations that improve sales and profitability.
- Own trade reporting, forecasting, month-end trade reconciliation, and annual planning support for commercial leadership.
- Manage customer pricing, item setup, promotional events, and retailer-facing platforms to ensure flawless execution.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for trade promotion management systems, including Promomash and retailer promotional portals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to improve trade processes and support strategic growth initiatives.
- Maintain accurate trade data, reporting, and system integrity while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Competencies Needed for Success:
- 3+ years of experience in trade management, pricing, revenue growth management (RGM), sales finance, commercial strategy, or related CPG functions.
- Experience supporting trade spend management, promotional planning, pricing, and customer-level sales execution.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Experience working with trade promotion management (TPM) systems, retailer portals, or customer pricing platforms; Promomash experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of grocery, club, and e-commerce retail channels within the consumer packaged goods industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field required.
