SEEKING A ROLE AS: Corporate Controller, Divisional Controller, VP Finance

IN LOCATION: Based in the Eastern New Jersey area. Not willing to relocate. Open to local, hybrid, or remote opportunities and will travel as needed.

PROFILE:
A seasoned Corporate Controller and Finance Executive with 20+ years of progressive leadership experience across dairy, beverage, frozen food, and industrial manufacturing environments. Brings deep expertise in multi-entity financial management, GAAP compliance, private equity reporting, cost accounting, inventory controls, and ERP optimization (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion). Proven track record of leading full financial operations for manufacturing facilities ranging from $40MM to $250MM+ in revenue. Recognized for driving process improvements, reducing close cycles, strengthening internal controls, and aligning finance with plant-level operations.

SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
– 20+ years of senior finance leadership in manufacturing environments including dairy, beverage, frozen food production, and construction materials.
– Led finance operations for $250MM manufacturing facilities, overseeing month-end close, financial reporting, cost accounting, inventory, and capital expenditures.
– Reduced monthly close from 8 days to 5 and implemented cycle count and perpetual inventory systems improving inventory visibility and cost recovery accuracy.
– Managed debt structures, borrowing base calculations, covenant compliance, and liaison relationships with private equity, auditors, and banking institutions.
– Directed product costing, variance analysis, and commodity pricing strategies to protect margins amid fluctuating raw material markets.
– Integrated accounting functions during acquisitions and supported divestitures, ensuring accurate consolidation and GAAP compliance.
– Built and developed high-performing finance and supply chain teams, mentoring staff recognized as “High Potential” within organizations.
EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS:
MBA w/focus in Accounting, B.S. in Business Admin./Accounting

COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation in the $170,000 – $190,000 range depending on total compensation package, incentive structure, and scope of responsibility.
