SEEKING A ROLE AS: Marketing Director for a small or mid-sized food processing company in the food and beverage industry
LOCATION: Currently living in New Jersey. Open to NYC Metro/NJ areas. Worksite preference: Hybrid
SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS: The candidate is a strategic marketing leader with extensive experience in the natural, organic, spirits, and wine segments of the food industry. They have a proven track record of developing innovative brand strategies, leading large-scale product launches, and turning around declining brands to deliver measurable growth. They excel in team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven marketing initiatives that boost revenue and market share.
• Over 10 years of experience in food and beverage marketing, including premium spirits, wine, and natural foods
• Expertise in brand strategy, product development, go-to-market planning, and digital marketing
• Managed teams of up to 4 direct reports and numerous external agencies
• Oversaw marketing budgets up to $15 million, with responsibilities for brand planning, campaign execution, and P&L management
• Achieved revenue growth of $4 million via new product line launches for a major food mfg.
• Increased deli shares by 1% amounting to more than $1 million
• Led rebranding efforts that resulted in a +10% case volume growth in the first year and significant improvements in sales and engagement
EDUCATION: MBA in Marketing from the University of Michigan, a BA from Emory University, and several certifications including:
– Certified Digital Marketing Professional from the Digital Marketing Institute
– Level III certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation is in the $170,000 range, dependent on responsibilities and cost of living, plus performance incentives.
