SEEKING A ROLE TO: leverage extensive experience and knowledge as a Regional Sales Manager or Business Development Manager within the foodservice and/or retail industries. Brings comprehensive expertise in the seafood and poultry sectors, as well as bakery and dry goods. LOCATION: Based in Las Vegas with full flexibility to travel as needed, including previous experience managing business across all 50 states.

SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Brings over 20 years of experience in the food sales industry, beginning as a food broker and advancing into regional sales and training roles within brokerage, followed by a Regional Sales Manager position for a foodservice manufacturer. Experienced in working with national distributors such as DOT Foods, as well as regional and local distribution partners. Excels at building and maintaining strong relationships with end users, recognizing that their satisfaction drives all sales success.
• Has successfully launched new items from white paper concepts, collaborated with R&D teams on product development, and partnered with marketing departments on promotional campaigns. Highly proficient in a variety of CRM systems, DOT Expressway, SAP, and all Microsoft Office programs. Possesses a deep understanding of the broker network and maintains strong relationships within many of them. Having started in the brokerage segment, demonstrates expertise in managing and growing business within brokers’ portfolios.
• In the most recent role as Regional Sales Manager, oversaw foodservice sales across all 50 states through a broker network of 500 sales representatives. Focused on the largest markets through routine market visits while managing smaller markets with semiannual or annual visits, ensuring nationwide coverage without losing focus on the core states that generate the majority of sales.
• Managed $50 million in business, achieving consistent growth of 5%–8% on a mature brand within a competitive category, all while staying within budget and maintaining strong customer engagement. Demonstrates sound fiscal responsibility and a strategic approach to resource allocation aligned with company goals.
• Raised in a family-owned restaurant business, developed a strong foundation in foodservice from an early age. Attended The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) earning an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts. The CIA’s rigorous program required six days of classes per week with minimal breaks, providing an intensive learning experience. Completed an externship at The Pier House Resort in Key West, Florida, followed by an extended externship in Antigua. Trained under renowned chefs Charlie Trotter and Master Chef Jason Tsoris, progressing from a young cook to a Certified Executive Chef.

COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation dependent on cost of living and responsibilities but likely in the $90,000-$100,000 range plus incentives.
