SEEKING A ROLE AS: VP of Sales / VP of Business Development with startup through large-scale Food & Beverage or CPG organizations across natural and conventional channels, ecommerce, and foodservice.
LOCATION & TRAVEL: Currently based in Rutherford, NJ (NYC Metro). Open to 25–50% travel.
PROFILE: Senior sales and business development leader with 28 years of experience driving growth across Food & Beverage, CPG, and adjacent categories, including snacks, beverages, supplements, frozen, and sports nutrition. Brings 15+ years of CPG leadership across natural and conventional channels, with deep expertise in HQ selling, broker and distributor management, data analytics, and go-to-market strategy. Known for opening new channels and white space, building strong executive-level relationships, and leading teams domestically and internationally. Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and highly effective in both startup and growth-stage environments.
SKILLS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
– 28 years of experience in sales, business development, leadership, and data-driven growth
– 15+ years in Food & Beverage CPG across RTDs, beverages, bars, powders, salty snacks, supplements, and frozen
– Led domestic and international sales efforts; worked directly with CEO/founder-led teams
– Deep experience with HQ buyers, brokers, distributors, DSD, and freight partners (including UNFI, KeHE)
– Opened and scaled white-space channels including independents, grocery, c-store, professional sports teams, and specialty distribution
– Strong capabilities in data platforms, analytics, pricing, promotion, placement, and product development
– Managed teams of up to 12 direct reports across sales and business development functions
– Revenue responsibility ranging from $2MM–$10MM in CPG portfolios; prior roles managing $1MM–$5MM per account and $20MM+ total revenue
– Entrepreneurial background including prototype development prior to the pandemic

COMPENSATION: Base salary expectation dependent on role scope and cost of living; likely in the $200,000–$250,000 range plus incentives.
