Kinsa is recruiting for a: Foodservice Sales Manager
Location: Hybrid – Greater Bay Area, CA
Join a well-established, family-owned specialty food distributor known for its strong market presence and high-quality, on-trend product portfolio. This organization has built long-standing relationships across the foodservice channel while continuing to grow with emerging and innovative dining concepts. This role is critical in driving regional sales performance, developing talent, and expanding reach—especially within the next generation of “must-visit” restaurants shaping the Bay Area food scene.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in foodservice sales leadership required; experience managing outside sales teams and working with distributors or restaurant operators strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $110,000 – $140,000 base salary + annual bonus ($6,250 – $50,000+)

Key Responsibilities and Goals:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of outside sales representatives to exceed revenue goals.
- Build and strengthen relationships with restaurants, multi-unit operators, and distributor partners.
- Execute territory sales strategies, promotions, and growth initiatives.
- Support key account development, retention, and expansion.
- Conduct regular ride-alongs to mentor and elevate field performance.
- Utilize CRM tools to track activity, forecast sales, and identify opportunities.
Competencies Needed for Success:
- 5+ years of foodservice sales leadership experience required.
- Proven experience managing and coaching outside sales representatives.
- Food & beverage / foodservice industry background required.
- Demonstrated success growing sales and building strong customer relationships.
- Experience working with distributors, restaurant chains, or foodservice operators preferred.
- Comfortable with frequent travel, field ride-alongs, and CRM systems in a hands-on environment.
