Kinsa is recruiting for an: Sales Manager
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite with 50% travel)

Our client is an established Houston-based company with a strong presence in the consumer goods industry. They are currently seeking a Sales Manager to support sales initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the business. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the sales of products in retail channels. You will leverage your strong relationship building skills and a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales goals to add new accounts and grow existing accounts.

  • 5+ years of outside sales and account management experience in retail channels. Experience with health & wellness products.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $120-130k base salary, 10% annual bonus potential

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

  • Create strategic sales plans and launch new ones that drive revenue and profitability. Prioritize work to meet quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Grow sales and brand penetration by winning new retail accounts and expanding existing ones.
  • Build strong customer relationships and serve as the main contact for key accounts.
  • Negotiate favorable terms that create win-win partnerships. Manage account finances, including P&L, forecasting, and terms.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver launch materials on time and secure retail placement for new products.
  • Share market insights with management to keep programs competitive and effective.

Competencies Needed for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing (preferred).
  • 5+ years of outside sales and account management experience in retail channels.
  • Proactive, comfortable with cold calling and prospecting.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency working with other departments to resolve issues.
