Kinsa is recruiting for a: National Sales Manager – Agriculture
Location: US, remote with significant travel

Our client debones poultry for industrial/agriculture clients. They are looking to add a National Sales Manager to their team, to help them diversify their poultry processing business, specifically expanding their sales and procurement with chicken production companies.

  • 7+ years sales experience in the chicken industry. (Must have an active rolodex of agricultural/industrial customers and vendors. Not retail, not foodservice.) Solid knowledge of procurement as well as sales. Very tech/AI/data savvy.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $150-180k base salary plus generous bonus potential (base pay may be higher for the perfect candidate)

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

  • Spearhead sales of poultry processing clients (customers and suppliers) in the chicken industry.
  • Lead a regular operating cadence for pipeline reviews, forecasting, and procurement planning.
  • Drive revenue growth by acting on market opportunities, executing go-to-market strategies, and expanding market share across new and existing accounts.
  • Own key customer and supplier relationships, pricing strategy, and margin performance.
  • Partner with operations, production, and finance to align sales commitments with throughput, yields, labor efficiency, and profitability.
  • Build disciplined commercial systems and reporting, including CRM, forecasts, KPIs, dashboards, pricing, and profitability analysis.
  • Establish repeatable, scalable processes that improve visibility, consistency, and execution.

Competencies Needed for Success:

  • 7+ years sales experience in the chicken industry – exceptional knowledge of the industry.
  • Hands-on leader with experience leading sales teams and/or procurement functions. Proven ability to build teams and drive accountability.
  • Forward thinking. Extremely technology savvy – including AI — and data-oriented.
  • Strong understanding of commodity dynamics + value-added selling
  • Travel 50% +
