Kinsa is recruiting for a: Global Sales Leader
Location: Remote With Extensive Travel

My client is a fast-growing beverage brand quickly building momentum across global markets. They are looking for a sales leader to drive growth globally, including an upcoming launch in the US. You will develop and execute sales strategy, opening doors with major retail and distribution partners, and building the infrastructure needed to scale business. A strong entrepreneurial track record, extensive relationships with top retail vendors and distributors and unquenchable commitment to drive growth are the keys to success in this exciting opportunity.

  • A proven record of driving commercial growth for CPG start-ups. A broad network of retail buyers and distributors. Open to extensive global travel.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Compensation will depend on experience, uncapped commission and bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities and Goals:

  • Develop and lead overall sales strategy and activity across priority markets globally, including convenience and gas channel partners, large retail accounts and regional and national distributors.

  • Build and leverage relationships that can help accelerate market entry and distribution growth.

  • Help determine the most effective go-to-market model by region, including direct-to-retail versus distributor-led approaches.

  • Work cross-functionally with company leadership to align sales efforts with brand strategy, marketing, and operational capabilities.

  • Represent the company in customer meetings, trade and industry events. Serve as a key commercial leader who can help translate company vision into practical revenue-generating partnerships.

  • Create and execute strategic staffing/partnership needs to scale growth.

Competencies Needed for Success:

  • Proven experience in CPG sales, ideally beverage. Demonstrated success helping launch and scale a brand, ideally in an emerging-growth or startup environment.

  • Strong network of relationships with retail buyers, regional or national distributors, and channel partners in convenience, grocery, and broader retail.

  • Experience working alongside distributors to drive execution and growth in market.

  • Ability to balance strategic global planning with hands-on business development.

  • Comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial company where flexibility and initiative are critical.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills and the ability to influence external partners and internal stakeholders alike.

  • Travel as needed to build relationships, support customers, attend meetings, and represent the brand at industry events.
