About Our Client:
Our client is a leading company in the food industry, committed to delivering high-quality goods and innovative production solutions. With a focus on operational excellence and growth, they seek a dynamic leader to oversee their manufacturing facility.

What Our Client Offers You:

  • Salary Range: $150,000 – $175,000
  • Bonus Package: $1,000 retention bonus and an annual bonus equivalent to one month’s gross salary

What You’ll Do:
As the Director of Operations, you will provide strategic leadership to optimize the client’s manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Your role is vital in transforming operational performance and supporting long-term growth.

  • Oversee production, packaging, maintenance, and supply chain management for a 24/7 facility.
  • Drive operational improvements to increase output  to full potential, addressing inefficiencies and staffing challenges.
  • Lead and develop a team of managers and supervisors, fostering a positive, safety-first culture.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, HACCP, and SQF standards.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and implement Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity.
  • Support facility expansion plans, including managing capital projects and growth initiatives.

Qualifications You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive operations management experience in food manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a large team of 100+ employees.
  • Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment, process optimization, and safety protocols.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills are preferred but not mandatory.
